Here’s a 20min video about the death of a major American newspaper. It is only the first of many to come over the next few years.
While I’m sad to see this kind of thing happen, it is inevitable and part of me kind of feels like the sooner it happens and the sooner people realize that things are never going to be like they used to be, the better off we’ll all be.
Every single town having a daily print newspaper might be going away, but quality journalism isn’t it’s just going online.
Check out The Huffington Post and The Daily Beast. That’s the future of newspapers right there. One of the things I’m looking forward to when I finish grad school is being able to read things like that on a daily basis.
