I’m totally obsessed with this music video for Beach House’s song “Gila” that I found over at the new Pitchfork.tv It is kind of creepy, especially all the shots of the singer staring at you with her hands in front of her face, but creepy in a good, relaxing way sorta. It’s hard to explain I know, I just like it a lot, I guess.
I’ve actually been really enjoying Pitchfork’s new video web site this week. As Jakob Lodwick said, it puts the focus on playing new music, not reading pretentious reviews. I forgot how much I love music videos. I had no idea so many of my favorite songs had them, it’s been fun to troll through the archives.
