Really wonderful essay about how blogs and the internet have kind of ushered in a golden age of essays. Not school essays, but the old-fashioned 19th century essay in which someone discusses and considers an issue or topic.
It’s also a great look at how dumb school essays are, and how little they have in common with real ones.
