Yesterday Brandon and I made beer in an old Paulander keg he procured and refashioned for our purposes. It was of course completely ridiculous and drawn out like every time I make beer but also a lot of fun, just like every time. Working with old kegs instead of our usual pots and pans and fermenter was unusual and provided many new challenges but it allowed us to make a whole lot more beer, I think somewhere around 10 gallons, which is exciting because it makes it feel much more like C&C Brewing Factory. I was kind of rusty and I realized how much I forgot since the last time I brewed back in October.
Addendum: We made a pale ale, which turned out strong and sweet. It will be ready to drink in mid-April.
