“Hi. This is a question for all the canidates.
So, any thinking person who’s read more than one book knows that you can’t be both intelligent and religious. Which one are you?
Please limit your response to twenty seconds and please include the answer to the question in your response.”

I get really frustrated when I see the polarized state religion holds in our country. Popular sentiment would hold that you’re either a born-again evolution-hating Christian or a Darwin-believing agnostic/atheist, there is no in between, which is just ignorant. It is possible to be both religious and intelligent, I promise. This isn’t just my personal belief either, if either side of this debate actually looked into it they would discover there are plenty of mainstream churches that hold this belief.

I beg to differ. I think I am both religious and intelligent. Then again, I’m not running for presidency.
