What’s your favorite horror movie?
Sarah and I have been trying to get in the holiday mood lately by watching some classic horror movies. They’ve been okay, but we really haven’t been scared yet. What should we watch next that will give us the willies?

Also Session 9. Rec (the Spanish version, not the US remake, Quarantine). The Silent House. The original The Haunting has its eerie moments. Ringu, if the US remake hasn’t de-horrified it for you. 28 Days Later. Uzumaki/Spiral.

The Ju-On series, as in the original Japanese ones, and the first one especially. The US remakes are much less scary.

I remember the original Texas chainsaw massacre freaking the shit out of me, but that was in 8th grade. Honestly it would probably still freak the shit out of me becase I am a wuss.

depends on what kind of scare you’re going for, for me the ultimate scary is really like…creeped out uncomfortable scares. gore and over the top fantasy don’t really do it for me.
