So I’ve been on Boston College campus a few days, and I’m already noticing differences between my new grad school and Northeastern.To be honest my first reaction when watching the the freshmen on campus is “Wow, these people have a lot of money.”  Which may or may not be true, to be honest.  To be more accurate I suppose I should say “the average student at Boston College dresses a lot nicer than the average student at Northeastern.” It’s also interesting because I wouldn’t really say the same thing about my fellow grad students, but then again what do you expect from English grad students. It’s not a field you go into to make money.

Regardless, everyone has been quite friendly and accommodating to me as I adjust to my new life on campus.  My fellow grad students are a great bunch of down to earth peopleand I’m looking forward to getting to know them more. I’m going to be ridiculously busy though.  I know I say that pretty much every semester, but it looks like I’m going to have two jobs in addition to my classes, and frankly it’s a little scary.  I’ve had a job pretty much since my second year of college, but this is grad school and I’m a little worried, especially because I’m probably going to be working at least 25 hours a week.  We shall see though.

Also- Not quite sure but I think of this tumblr business yet.  I really miss having the option of comments as well as tags. I may switch over to something else once more, we shall see.
