This fall has marked a new chapter of my life.  I’m starting grad school at a new school in a new part of town and I’ve moved to a new apartment. As part of this trend I’ve decided to start a new blog.  (That and I finally got fed up with my old blog hosting sites which was completely unreliable) I decided to try this new blog with tumblr, the latest in greatest blog engine that all the geeks are talking about.  It’s a lot more streamlined and emphasizes multimedia posts.  So you should see a lot more photos and links to music I’m listening to.  I think this’ll be a nice way to keep updates coming much more regularly. The only real downside is that tumblr does not allow for comments, which has always been one of my favorite aspects of running a blog, but on the other hand no one really made that many comments anyway, so I doubt they’ll be missed much.  Still, I’d love to hear what you think of any of this, please e-mail me at Atwaterc (at) yahoo dot com whenever you’d like.

Oh I almost forgot- other downsides to this new blog include not having ready access to my last three years of blogging and the inability to post files for download, but I’ll look into this and see what I can work out.
